How we teach
Most things are built for an imaginary 'average' learner. We've never met them. So we build ours for real people instead: busy ones, distracted ones, ones who learned to dread exams at school, and ones who just want it to make sense.
I'm Karen, and I have ADHD. I know exactly how it feels when learning doesn't fit your brain. That's why Done Different exists.
You'll always know where to start
Short sections, clear next steps, no hunting around. Organising the course should never turn into a second course.

More than one way in
Words, pictures, diagrams, demonstrations and quick summaries. If one explanation doesn't land, there's another one waiting. (And no, we won't sort you into a 'learning style'. The research doesn't back them up.)
Practice that doesn't feel like a test
Low-pressure knowledge checks and practical examples, so you can see what's sunk in and what needs another look. Getting it wrong is part of learning it.

Flexible, not flimsy
You learn what you need to learn. Nothing is 'dumbed down'. There are just lots of different ways to learn it.
We'll listen
If something isn't working for you, tell us. You don't need a diagnosis, a label or a letter to ask for something to be Done Different.
Why we teach like this
Done Different is built on Universal Design for Learning (UDL). In plain English: design the course so more people can use it from the start, instead of bolting on fixes later. Think of it like putting the ramp at the front entrance rather than round the back. Turns out everyone uses the ramp.
Each course page tells you exactly how that course is taught and assessed.
